Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Rust Developer to design, build, and optimize high-performance distributed systems and cloud-native infrastructure. You will contribute to mission-critical enterprise platforms where performance, reliability, security, and scalability matter.

In a 100% remote US-based role, you will collaborate with platform engineers, distributed systems architects, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable services across Kubernetes, streaming, and authentication

Qualifikationen

• At least six years of professional software engineering experience.
• Three+ years building production Rust applications.
• Strong Rust fundamentals including ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, traits, generics, and macros.
• Experience with async Rust using Tokio and Futures.
• Experience with frameworks such as Axum, Actix, Warp, or Rocket.
• Knowledge of concurrent programming, multithreading, OS, and networking.
• Experience with REST APIs and gRPC, Linux production environments, cloud-native apps on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• SQL experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server; NoSQL like Redis, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
• Hands-on with Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes; distributed messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, Pulsar).
• Familiarity with Terraform/Pulumi, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, cryptography, Rust tooling, C/C++ interoperability.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance Rust services for large-scale distributed systems.
• Build low-latency APIs, event-driven microservices, asynchronous processing services, and networking applications.
• Develop with protocols such as TCP, UDP, HTTP/2, gRPC, WebSockets, or QUIC.
• Develop resilient, highly concurrent applications and ensure availability and fault tolerance.
• Optimize CPU and memory utilization, thread scheduling, and end-to-end performance.
• Integrate services with messaging systems and databases; implement secure APIs and authentication (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect, mTLS).
• Improve observability with logging, distributed tracing, and performance monitoring.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and production support; collaborate on CI/CD and infra automation.
