Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Rust development experience in production.
• Strong proficiency in Rust including ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, traits, generics, and macros.
• Extensive experience with asynchronous Rust using Tokio, async/await, Futures, and Actix or Axum.
• Strong understanding of concurrent programming, multithreading, synchronization primitives, and lock-free concepts.
• Experience building RESTful APIs, gRPC, and high-performance backends.
• Strong OS fundamentals including memory management, scheduling, file systems, and networking.
• Experience with Linux production environments and command-line tooling.
• Experience developing cloud-native apps on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL Server; NoSQL experience.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience integrating distributed messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, Pulsar).
• Strong debugging, profiling, benchmarking, and performance optimization.
• Experience in Agile development environments.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop high-performance backend services in Rust for large-scale distributed systems.
• Build low-latency APIs, asynchronous processing services, and event-driven microservices.
• Develop networking apps using TCP, UDP, gRPC, WebSockets, and QUIC protocols.
• Build highly concurrent applications with Rust's async ecosystem (Tokio, async/await).
• Design resilient services capable of processing millions of transactions with high availability and fault tolerance.
• Optimize CPU usage, memory management, threading, and performance.
• Integrate services with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis Streams, or similar messaging platforms.
• Develop secure APIs and authentication services (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect, mTLS).
• Build observability via structured logging, distributed tracing, and metrics.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, system design, and production support.
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate deployments using CI/CD and IaC.
• Investigate complex production issues related to networking, concurrency, memory, and distributed systems.
