Job summary

Hire Feed is seeking a Member of Technical Staff for its Robotics Lab. This remote, full-time role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying autonomous robotic systems with emphasis on real-time control and scalability.

You will collaborate across teams to integrate hardware and software for next-generation robotics platforms. Responsibilities include building control algorithms, sensor fusion for localization and mapping, and hardware–software integration.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with ROS/ROS 2 or similar robotics frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python for robotics.
• Experience with real-time control systems and embedded software.
• Knowledge of SLAM, sensor fusion, and computer vision.
• Familiarity with Gazebo, CoppeliaSim or Isaac Sim.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement control algorithms for robotic systems including motion planning.
• Develop software for perception, localization, and mapping using sensor fusion.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate sensors and actuators.
• Optimize robotic performance for safety and reliability in dynamic environments.
• Document specifications, test results, and deployment procedures.
