Path Robotics is hiring a Staff Robotics Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across perception, planning, controls, and execution in our robotics software stack. You will architect and build systems, mentor engineers, and drive scalable software practices to enable autonomous capabilities in real-world manufacturing settings.

Qualifications

• 8+ years developing robotics software
• Deep expertise in modern C++
• Python proficiency strongly preferred
• Experience architecting large-scale robotics software
• Real-time robotics and performance optimization

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture of robotics software across perception, planning, controls, and execution
• Design scalable software frameworks for reliable, maintainable robotic applications
• Drive motion planning and trajectory generation for complex robotic tasks
• Develop real-time control systems, calibration, and visual servoing
• Extend autonomy stack for mobile platforms including localization and navigation
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices
• Collaborate with ML, Perception, Hardware, and Systems teams to define long-term strategy
