Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Robot Application Developer to design, develop, and integrate software for autonomous robotic systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in C++, Python, ROS/ROS 2, perception, motion planning, and robotics software development.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support field testing, and mentor junior engineers. Build and test robotic solutions using Gazebo or Isaac Sim and ensure robust integration with hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of robotics software development experience.
• Strong programming in C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS 2.
• Experience with perception, localization, SLAM, or robotic control systems.
• Familiarity with sensor fusion and simulation environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop robotics applications using C++ and Python.
• Design and integrate sensor pipelines (LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, and other sensors).
• Implement perception, localization, SLAM, motion planning, and control algorithms.
• Develop applications using ROS/ROS 2 and integrate with robotic hardware.
• Build and test robotic solutions using simulation tools such as Gazebo or Isaac Sim.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, support field testing, and mentor junior engineers.
