Job summary

BairesDev is hiring a Robotics Software Engineer to develop and optimize software powering autonomous systems. You will work at the intersection of real-time and physical motion, ensuring precision and reliability in complex environments.

You will integrate sensors, actuators, and controllers, design motion planning algorithms, and build perception pipelines. This role requires hands-on ROS/ROS2 experience and strong English proficiency, with 100% remote work from anywhere.

Qualifications

5+ years in Software Engineering with robotics/autonomous systems.
Expertise in C++ and Python for robotics software.
Experience with ROS/ROS2 for navigation and perception.
Experience with simulation tools (Gazebo, Isaac Sim) for testing.
Strong grasp of real-time systems, kinematics, and perception pipelines.
Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Create and refine software modules to integrate sensors, actuators, and hardware controllers.
Design and implement navigation and motion planning algorithms.
Develop real-time perception pipelines to process data and detect obstacles.
Use simulation tools to test and validate robotic behaviours before deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve distributed robotics software issues.
