BairesDev is hiring a Robotics Software Engineer to develop and optimize software powering autonomous systems. You will work at the intersection of real-time and physical motion, ensuring precision and reliability in complex environments.

You will integrate sensors, actuators, and controllers, design motion planning algorithms, and build perception pipelines. This role requires hands-on ROS/ROS2 experience and strong English proficiency, with 100% remote work from anywhere.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Software Engineering with robotics/autonomous systems.
• Expertise in C++ and Python for robotics software.
• Experience with ROS/ROS2 for navigation and perception.
• Experience with simulation tools (Gazebo, Isaac Sim) for testing.
• Strong grasp of real-time systems, kinematics, and perception pipelines.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine software modules to integrate sensors, actuators, and hardware controllers.
• Design and implement navigation and motion planning algorithms.
• Develop real-time perception pipelines to process data and detect obstacles.
• Use simulation tools to test and validate robotic behaviours before deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve distributed robotics software issues.
