Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a senior software engineer to join our autonomous vehicle validation team in a fully remote role. You will design and run automated simulation pipelines, build data-driven verification processes, and collaborate with autonomy teams to define success metrics for on-vehicle logic.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software engineering for autonomous systems, strong Python expertise, and experience with CARLA or NVIDIA DRIVE Sim.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, specifically in autonomous vehicle validation or simulation pipelines.
• Proven expertise in Python and simulation frameworks such as CARLA or NVIDIA DRIVE Sim.
• Hands-on experience with scenario design, generation, and validation for autonomous driving systems.
• Strong background in large-scale data analysis and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
• Proficiency in offline evaluation and verification of autonomous vehicle behaviors.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated simulation pipelines to validate autonomous vehicle behaviors.
• Develop diverse and realistic driving scenarios.
• Orchestrate large-scale data analysis to identify edge cases and performance bottlenecks in offline evaluations.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to streamline the verification and validation process.
• Collaborate with autonomy teams to define success metrics and verification standards for on-vehicle logic.
• Ensure the continuous improvement of evaluation tools to enhance the fidelity of simulated environments.
