BairesDev is seeking a Behavioral Engineer to shape how autonomous vehicles interpret complex environments and act safely in real-world scenarios. You will define decision-making frameworks and collaborate with robotics teams to deploy reliable behaviors across platforms.

We value 5+ years in Robotics, strong C++ skills, expertise in planning under uncertainty, and a deep understanding of real-time systems. This is a 100% remote role with flexible hours and global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Robotics, Autonomy, or Software Engineering.
• Expertise in decision-making algorithms and on-vehicle autonomy.
• Proficient in C++ and robotics fundamentals.
• Experience with planning under uncertainty and AV safety patterns.
• Knowledge of autonomous vehicle behaviors and real-time systems.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Architect and refine decision-making frameworks for on-vehicle autonomy.
• Design behavioral patterns ensuring safety and reliability under diverse road conditions.
• Develop planning algorithms to handle uncertainty in dynamic environments.
• Implement safety patterns to mitigate autonomous operation risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate behavioral logic with robotics systems.
