• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Five or more years of robotics software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience with ROS or ROS 2 in production projects.
• Solid experience with perception, localization, motion planning, or control.
• Familiarity with sensor fusion techniques.
• Experience with simulation environments (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo).
• Strong debugging in real-time and concurrent systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting field tests and hardware integration.

Responsabilidades

• Develop robotics software in C++ and Python with real-time performance.
• Design and integrate sensor data pipelines (cameras, LiDAR, IMUs).
• Implement perception, localization, and mapping (SLAM).
• Develop motion planning and trajectory generation algorithms.
• Build behavioral systems using state machines or trees.
• Integrate ROS/ROS 2 with hardware and embedded systems.
• Apply safety-critical patterns including watchdogs and safe stops.
• Build simulation environments for development and testing.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and ML engineers.
• Design and execute field tests and gather data.
• Maintain thorough technical documentation and runbooks.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in design reviews.
• Evaluate emerging robotics technologies and make recommendations.
