Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Embedded Robotics Engineer to design, develop, and integrate software powering autonomous robots. You will work across sensor integration, motion planning, perception, and behavior systems to deliver production-grade solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in robotics software, strong C++/Python skills, ROS/ROS2 experience, and hands-on experience with simulation tools like Gazebo, Isaac Sim, or MuJoCo.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of robotics software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience with ROS or ROS 2 in production projects.
• Solid experience with perception, localization, motion planning, or control.
• Familiarity with sensor fusion and Kalman/particle filter techniques.
• Experience with simulation environments (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo).
• Strong debugging skills in real-time and concurrent systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting field tests and hardware integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and integrate software systems powering autonomous robots and robotic platforms.
• Work across the full robotics software stack from sensor integration to high-level perception and behavioral systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust software solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews, design reviews, and mentorship for junior engineers.
