Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Embedded Robotics Engineer to design, build, and integrate software powering autonomous robots. You will work across the full robotics software stack, from sensor integration to perception and behavior systems, collaborating with product, design, and operations teams.

The role requires 6+ years of robotics software experience, strong C++/Python skills, ROS/ROS2 in production, and hands-on hardware integration.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of robotics software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience with ROS or ROS 2 in production projects.
• Solid experience with perception, localization, motion planning, or control.
• Familiarity with sensor fusion and Kalman/particle filter techniques.
• Experience with simulation environments (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo).
• Strong debugging skills in real-time and concurrent systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting field tests and hardware integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and integrate software for autonomous robots and robotic platforms.
• Work across the full robotics software stack from sensor integration to high-level perception and behavior systems.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code and design reviews.
