Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Robotics Engineer to design, build, and integrate software powering autonomous robots. You will work across the full robotics software stack—from sensor integration and motion planning to high-level perception and behavior systems.

Collaboration with product, design, engineering, and operations is essential to translate ambiguous requirements into robust, production-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Five or more years of robotics software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience with ROS or ROS 2 in production projects.
• Solid experience with at least one of perception, localization, motion planning, or control.
• Familiarity with sensor fusion and Kalman/particle filter techniques.
• Experience with simulation environments (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo).
• Strong debugging skills in real-time and concurrent systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting field tests and hardware integration.

• Design, build, and integrate software for autonomous robots and robotic platforms.
• Work across full robotics software stack from sensor integration to perception and behavior.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate requirements into engineering solutions.
• Lead code and design reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Maintain engineering discipline and ensure production-grade quality.
