Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Robotics Engineer to design, build, and integrate software for autonomous robots and platforms. This is a 100% remote, full-time role with U.S. operations.

You will work across the full robotics stack—from sensor integration and motion planning to perception and behavior—collaborating with product, design, and operations to deliver production-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in robotics, CS or EE.
• 5+ years of robotics software engineering experience.
• Strong C++ and Python programming skills.
• Hands-on ROS/ROS 2 in production projects.
• Experience with perception, localization, motion planning, or control.
• Sensor fusion and Kalman/particle filters.
• Experience with Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo.
• Strong debugging in real-time/concurrent systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and integrate software for autonomous robots.
• Work across the robotics software stack from sensing to behavior.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate requirements.
• Contribute to code reviews and design reviews.
