Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks an RN Triage Specialist to provide telephonic triage and virtual monitoring, guiding callers to appropriate care using established workflows. The role supports care coordination, documentation in EMR, and collaboration with clinical teams to improve patient access and throughput.

The position is part-time, with evenings, weekend rotations, and three holidays per year. EPIC EHR experience is preferred, and licensure in applicable state(s) is required.

Qualifications

• RN license required in applicable state(s).
• Multistate/Compact RN Licensure Required
• ADN or Diploma Nursing required, BSN preferred
• 1 year of acute care nursing experience required
• Triage experience preferred
• EPIC EHR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides telephonic triage or requested support and / or virtual monitoring. Uses decision tools and workflows to provide education or care advice.
• Partners with customers to reduce readmissions, manage chronic disease, arrange provider communication.
• Ensures accurate, timely EMR documentation.
• Supports virtual monitoring and escalation to support services.
• Participates in process improvement and professional development.
