Job summary

TriHealth in Ohio is seeking an Answering Service Registered Nurse to triage calls, provide evidence-based guidance, and coordinate care across providers. The role supports a patient-first culture and uses advanced technology to connect patients with the right care, with a focus on First Call Resolution.

The position is full-time, day shift, with weekend and holiday rotation, and requires an Associate’s degree in nursing and a compact multi-state RN license within 8 weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing required.
• 2-3 years’ professional nursing experience required.
• Registered Nurse - COMPACT (Multi-State) Licensure within 8 weeks of hire required.
• Typing, Microsoft Office, and Electronic Medical Charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls in a timely manner and triage using Nurse Triage.
• Provide excellent customer service and document nursing guidance in the chart.
• Facilitate care between physicians, hospitals, and patients per protocol.
• Maintain privacy and HIPAA compliance when entering patient information.
• Achieve department goals and maintain audit standards.
