Job summary

Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking an RN Health Care Facility Surveyor to support nationwide survey activities in a flexible, fully remote role. The position emphasizes independent decision-making, travel readiness up to 75%, and leadership within survey teams across diverse facilities.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing, completed CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training, and passed the SMQT, with current RN licensure and at least two years of surveyor

Qualifications

• Must have Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Must have CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and passed the SMQT.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a surveyor accrediting or certifying long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified health care facilities to determine compliance with Federal regulations.
• Prepare for surveys with off-site prep, tours, observation of care, records review, and staff/family interviews.
• Evaluate quality of care, patient rights, and facility conditions; communicate deficiencies; monitor plans of correction; follow-up visits and training.
