Job summary

Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking an RN Health Care Facility Surveyor to support nationwide surveys for long-term care facilities. The role requires CMS training, SMQT, two years of survey experience, and active RN licensure, with travel up to 75% and a base salary in the $75,000–$90,000 range.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Must have CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training and passed SMQT.
• At least two years of recent experience as a surveyor for long-term care facilities.
• Current RN licensure required.
• Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid facilities to ensure compliance with Federal regulations.
• Prepare for surveys with off-site prep, tours, observations, record reviews, and staff/family interviews.
• Evaluate quality of care, patient rights, and facility operations.
• Communicate deficiencies and plans of correction to site leadership.
• Lead or support survey teams and provide training as needed.
