Job summary

Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking an RN Health Care Facility Surveyor to support nationwide QA projects. This 100% remote role involves up to 75% travel to various healthcare facilities for Medicare/Medicaid surveys, including long-term care and other settings.

You will conduct surveys, review records, interview staff and families, and report findings. The ideal candidate holds an RN license with a nursing degree and CMS training, plus 2+ years surveyor experience, and can travel

Qualifications

• Must have RN licensure and nursing degree.
• CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training and SMQT completed.
• At least two years of surveyor experience in long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified facilities to determine compliance with Federal regulations.
• Prepare for surveys including off-site prep, facility tour, care observation, record review, and staff/family interviews.
• Evaluate quality of care, residents' rights and facility conditions.
• Communicate non-compliance issues with site staff and during exit conference to ensure understanding of deficiencies.
• Determine if a plan of correction is acceptable.
• Conduct follow-up visits and training; participate in work groups as needed.
