Job summary

Mercy welcomes you to join the Mercy Virtual triage program as an RN in the vAcute initiative, delivering patient-centered care 24/7 under guidance of the Medical Director.

The role spans education, care coordination, and ED handoffs, with responsibilities across the care continuum in a collaborative, innovative environment.

Requirements include a nursing degree, RN license in the state or compact, and 2–3 years in Med Surg/ED/CCU with BLS and core certifications.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in hiring state and/or compact licensure required
• 2–3 years of Med Surg, ED, or Critical Care experience preferred
• BLS certification required, ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/PALS/PEARS and other unit certifications may be required

Responsibilities

• Serve as 24/7 point of contact for ED handoffs.
• Facilitate scheduling and coordinate care for Mercy’s Intense Care Coordination program.
• Support patients across the care continuum in the vAcute program.
