Job summary

Gillette Children's is seeking a Clinical Systems Analyst/Revenue Cycle Billing Analyst to optimize and support the EHR system (Oracle Health/Cerner) and related clinical systems. This role collaborates across Revenue Cycle, Patient Accounting, and Finance to implement system enhancements and ensure accurate workflows.

The position is primarily remote with occasional onsite meetings in St. Paul, MN, and travel within the Twin Cities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience in IT/healthcare.
• Experience with clinical information systems.
• Proficiency in system implementation, support, and maintenance in a clinical environment.
• Experience with documentation and version control of configurations and SOPs.
• Minimum of 3 years as a Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Strong understanding of clinical, scheduling, and charges workflows in healthcare.
• Understanding of software integrations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support Revenue Cycle and Patient Accounting in Oracle Health/Cerner.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into system solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Configure Oracle Health/Cerner to support billing and documentation workflows.
• Gather requirements and translate into system specs and workflows.
• Troubleshoot issues and liaise with IS teams and vendors.
• Support system implementations, upgrades, testing, and maintenance.
• Analyze data and reports for audits and process improvements.
• Maintain documentation of configurations and SOPs.
• Stay current on Oracle Health/Cerner capabilities.
