Job summary

Gillette Children’s is seeking a Clinical Systems Analyst/Revenue Cycle Billing Analyst to optimize and support the EHR and related clinical systems. The role emphasizes Oracle Health/Cerner Patient Accounting and Revenue Cycle functionality, including charges, coding, and audits.

You will partner with multiple departments to deliver system solutions and drive improvements. The position is primarily remote with occasional onsite meetings in the Twin Cities area and travel within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4+ years of experience in a clinical systems role.
• Experience with clinical information systems in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in system implementation, support, and maintenance within a clinical environment.
• Experience with documenting and version controlling system configurations and user guides.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support Revenue Cycle and Patient Accounting functionality in Oracle Health/Cerner.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into system solutions.
• Analyze workflows to identify efficiency improvements.
• Configure Oracle Health/Cerner to support revenue cycle, patient accounting, charging, and coding workflows.
• Gather requirements and translate into system specifications and designs.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with IS teams and vendors on complex problems.
• Support system implementations, upgrades, testing, and documentation updates.
• Analyze data to identify trends for audits and improvements.
