Job summary

Gillette Children’s is seeking a Clinical Systems Analyst to optimize and support the EHR and related clinical systems, with a focus on Oracle Health/Cerner Patient Accounting and Revenue Cycle functionality. The role collaborates across Revenue Cycle, Patient Accounting, Charge Services, Finance, and other teams to translate business needs into effective system solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience with clinical information systems.
• Proficiency in system implementation, support, and maintenance within a clinical environment.
• Experience with documentation and version control of system configurations and user guides.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Strong understanding of clinical, scheduling, and charges workflows in a healthcare setting.
• Understanding of software integrations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support Revenue Cycle and Patient Accounting in Oracle Health/Cerner.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into system solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Configure and build within Oracle Health/Cerner for revenue cycle and related workflows.
• Gather requirements and translate into system specifications and workflows.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide responsive end-user support with IS/vendor collaboration.
• Support system implementations, upgrades, testing, and maintenance projects.
