Cedars-Sinai is seeking a patient relations professional to support the Patient Financial Services team. You will identify and resolve patient billing inquiries, explain payor contracts, and negotiate payment plans while maintaining accurate records.

The role emphasizes de-escalation and strong analytical and prioritization skills to deliver timely, courteous service to patients and payors.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year hospital billing or professional billing and/or collections experience with customer service and call center experience.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and respond to patient inquiries, resolve issues, and follow up on accounts to ensure payment and resolution.
• Explain payor contracts and Cedars-Sinai billing and collections policy to patients and third parties.
• Negotiate and document payment plans within established policies.
• Research and resolve inquiries; ensure resolutions meet patient needs.
• Monitor work queues and workload; escalate issues when needed.
• Collaborate with team and share knowledge to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
