Cetera is seeking a Retirement Plan Sales Consultant to partner with retirement-focused advisors, driving growth of employer-sponsored plan business. You will build relationships via phone, web meetings, and in-person visits, using product knowledge and internal resources to support advisor needs.

The role covers Southeast and Northeast territories, requires 7+ years in the retirement plan industry, a Bachelor's degree, and travel of 25-50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7+ years in retirement plan industry with defined contribution sales experience.
• Understanding of financial markets and retirement plan regulations.
• Excellent prospecting and closing skills, sales planning, and market knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory sales plans to build pipeline and drive adoption of Cetera's 401(k) solution.
• Manage full sales cycle from discovery and proposal through follow-up and close.
• Provide consultative sales support to retirement-focused advisors to grow employer-sponsored retirement plan opportunities.
• Document sales activity, outbound calls, meetings, webinars, and campaigns in CRM tools.
