Job summary

Cetera is seeking a Retirement Plan Sales Consultant to partner with retirement-focused advisors and drive growth of employer-sponsored retirement plans. You will own and develop Southeast and Northeast territories, build pipeline, manage the full sales cycle, and provide consultative sales support to advisors.

Travel is required (25-50%), with remote work options. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and 7+ years in the retirement plan industry is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of retirement plan industry experience, including defined contribution sales support or advisor-facing solutions.
• Must have excellent prospecting and closing skills, sales planning, and market knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop Southeast and Northeast territories to achieve retirement plan sales and asset goals.
• Manage full sales cycle from discovery and proposal through follow-up and close.
• Provide consultative sales support to retirement-focused advisors to drive employer-sponsored plan opportunities.
