Job summary

Cetera is seeking a Retirement Plan Sales Consultant to partner with retirement-focused advisors, driving growth of employer-sponsored retirement plan business. You will manage relationships, proposals, and education across multiple territories, including travel up to 50%.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in retirement plan sales, FINRA Series 65, and strong prospecting and closing skills. The role offers a competitive salary package with incentives and remote-friendly options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years related experience preferred.
• 7+ years in retirement plan industry experience including support for defined contribution sales.
• FINRA Series 65.
• Strong prospecting, closing, and advisory presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop Southeast and Northeast territories to meet retirement plan sales goals.
• Develop and execute territory sales plan to build pipeline and drive adoption of Cetera 401(k) solutions.
• Manage full sales cycle from discovery to close.
• Provide consultative sales support to retirement-focused advisors.
• Develop advisor relationships via phone, web-based, and in-person meetings.
• Support proposal generation and client meetings preparation.
• Provide product and solution consulting for employer-sponsored retirement plans.
• Collaborate with internal partners to support advisor needs and opportunities.
• Document sales activity and campaigns to promote growth.
