Job summary

Cetera is seeking a Retirement Plan Sales Consultant to partner with retirement-focused advisors and drive growth in employer-sponsored retirement plans. You will own Southeast and Northeast territories, develop pipelines, and manage the full sales cycle from discovery to close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience preferred.
• 7+ years of retirement plan industry experience including defined contribution sales, consulting, or advisor-facing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory sales plan to build pipeline and increase adoption of Cetera's 401(k) solution.
• Manage full sales cycle from discovery to close.
• Provide consultative sales support to retirement-focused advisors.
• Develop and foster advisor relationships through calls and meetings.
• Support proposal generation and prepare for client meetings.
• Provide product and solution consulting related to employer-sponsored retirement plans.
• Support advisors with practice management and growth strategies.
• Document sales activity and campaigns to promote growth.
• Collaborate with internal partners across teams to support advisor needs.
• Stay current on retirement plan trends and share insights.
