Job summary

Cetera is seeking a Retirement Plan Sales Consultant to partner with retirement-focused advisors and drive growth of employer-sponsored retirement plan business. You will own and develop the Southeast and Northeast territories, delivering consultative sales support, building relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to drive new plan sales and asset growth.

Responsibilities include developing territory sales plans, managing full sales cycles, and providing product and solution

Qualifications

7+ years in retirement plan industry or advisor-facing retirement plan solutions.
Must have prospecting and closing skills, sales planning and market knowledge.
Travel required: 25-50% travel.
Experience in broker-dealer, recordkeeper, DCIO asset manager, or retirement plan provider environments preferred.
Experience translating retirement plan concepts into advisor guidance.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute territory sales plan to build pipeline for Cetera 401(k) solution.
Manage full sales cycle from discovery to close.
Provide consultative sales support to retirement-focused advisors for plan opportunities.
Develop and foster advisor relationships through phone, web, and in-person meetings.
Support proposal generation and prep for client meetings.
