Job summary

Cetera seeks a Retirement Plan Sales Consultant to partner with retirement-focused advisors and drive employer-sponsored retirement plan growth. You will own and develop the Southeast and Northeast territories, build pipelines, and manage the full sales cycle from discovery to close.

You will provide consultative sales support, stay current on industry trends, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver advisor guidance and effective plan solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in retirement plan sales, consulting, or advisor-facing roles.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Understanding of financial markets and retirement plan regulations.
• Excellent prospecting and closing skills, sales planning, and knowledge of client needs.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the Southeast and Northeast territories to achieve retirement plan sales and asset goals.
• Manage the full sales cycle from discovery and proposal through close.
• Provide consultative sales support to retirement-focused advisors.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans to build pipeline.
• Document sales activity, meetings, and campaigns to promote growth.
• Collaborate with internal partners to support advisor needs and opportunities.
• Travel 25-50% as required.
