Job summary

Squishable.com, Inc. is seeking a Temporary Retail Operations Coordinator to support the retail team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.

This role reports to the Director of Retail and collaborates with Regional Managers, Store Managers, and internal departments to keep stores informed and operating smoothly. You will help manage store requests, coordinate with vendors, and assist with openings, relocations, remodels, and closures, while maintaining records and supporting

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, administrative support, office coordination, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a retail environment or supporting multiple locations is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and general office software.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow established processes.
• Proactive, team-oriented approach and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating with multiple departments.
• Experience with NetSuite or other retail management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day administrative and operational support to leadership and retail teams.
• Coordinating store requests, tracking issues, and following up with departments and vendors.
• Assisting with store openings, relocations, remodels, and closures through remote coordination.
• Maintaining retail operational documents, communications, calendars, and manuals.
• Supporting facilities requests by communicating with vendors and scheduling services.
• Preparing operational reports, spreadsheets, trackers, and records.
• Assisting with purchase orders, invoices, and vendor documentation.
• Coordinating with Inventory Planning, Warehousing, Finance, IT, and other departments to support store operations.
• Communicating updates and procedural changes to store teams.
• Providing administrative support for special projects and initiatives.
