Job summary

Smith Hanley Associates is building its first full-time research team member to own research engagements from intake through delivery. The role focuses on hands-on project management, survey design and data analysis for a high-stakes litigation context.

You will partner with the founder, coordinate timelines and vendors, and develop survey questions, online programs, and client-ready reports. Innovation and process improvements are encouraged as the practice grows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in market research or related consulting environments.
• Experience writing and/or programming surveys.
• Comfort analyzing survey data in Excel/Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Own multiple research projects from kickoff to final delivery.
• Manage timelines, deliverables, vendors and all moving pieces.
• Develop and refine survey questions and program online surveys.
• Review, clean and analyze survey data.
• Identify meaningful findings and translate them into client stories.
• Build polished reports and presentations for clients.
• Participate in client conversations and learn the litigation side of business.
• Improve internal processes and bring more research capabilities in-house.
• Explore AI and new technology to make the research process smarter and more efficient.
