Duke University seeks a Grant Administrator to perform pre- and post-award management for the School of Medicine. You will review proposals, assist PIs and grant managers with budgets, and ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines and university policies.

Role involves cross-training for coverage across pre-award and award management, with opportunities to engage across Duke Health components. This remote position requires strong analytical and organizational skills and a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; research/grants education preferred.
• Experience with pre- and post-award activities is a plus.
• Ability to interpret sponsor guidelines and university policies.

Responsabilités

• Assist PIs and Grant Managers with proposal budgets and materials.
• Review applications for compliance with sponsor guidelines and university policies.
• Ensure required compliance approvals (human subjects, animals, COI, export controls) are obtained.
• Initiate/approve account setup for new projects and manage award set-up.
• Manage award documentation and project close-out processes.
