Job summary

UL Research Institutes is seeking a Research Coordinator to join the Institute for Research Experiences & Education (IREE) on a remote basis. You will support social science research programs, manage project workflows, and ensure timely, compliant execution across teams.

You will help with logistics, documentation, data management, and budget coordination, while collaborating with internal and external partners to advance our research goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social science and/or demonstrated interest in social science research.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or research.
• Experience or demonstrated interest in project management and coordinating interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain systems to track and administer social science research across projects.
• Facilitate regular team and project meetings, provide updates, identify roadblocks, and solicit input.
• Foster relationships with colleagues and collaborators, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and changes.
• Track trainings, certifications, and IRB applications; support ethics compliance.
• Create and maintain project charters and timelines; translate plans into milestones and resources.
• Maintain status reports, meeting summaries, and periodic project reports for leadership.
