Job summary

REJIS is seeking a Research Assistant to provide general social science research support for low to moderate complexity assignments. Responsibilities include literature reviews, statistical analysis of data, and preparing memos, tables, and graphs under supervision.

You will help develop project materials and serve as an editor for deliverables, while supporting business development through coordination of documents and background research on programs and agency goals.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed Master's degree in criminology or related field.
• Basic knowledge of research principles, processes, and methods.
• Data entry experience and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong MS Office skills; familiarity with statistical software (SPSS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general research support related to social science on low to moderate complexity assignments.
• Conduct literature reviews and statistical analysis of data.
• Prepare memos, tables, and graphs under supervision.
• Develop project materials and edit deliverables.
• Support business development through document coordination and reproduction.
• Assist in background research for new business development and agency goals.
