Job summary

HelpfulRemote is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to keep Astronomer’s managed Airflow platform reliable by monitoring cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters. You will respond to incidents from customers or monitoring systems, troubleshoot with customers across industries and cloud providers, and work to permanently resolve problems while improving observability and automation.

The role is fully remote for USA-based candidates and includes on-call weekend coverage with total

Qualifications

• Five years of experience with large-scale cloud infrastructure.
• Three years with Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience running production distributed systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong Linux skills.
• DevOps or CI/CD experience.
• Python scripting.
• Solid troubleshooting and communication abilities.
• Prior customer-facing issue handling is required.
