Job summary

Astronomer is seeking an experienced infrastructure specialist for its Customer Reliability Engineering team. You will focus on reliability of cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters, respond to incidents, and work to permanently resolve issues while improving observability and uptime.

You will interface with customers across industries, contribute to product feedback, and help guide architecture while ensuring top-tier production reliability and a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with large, complex cloud infrastructures at scale.
• 3 years of experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience managing a production distributed system across major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong Linux experience and ability to operate and monitor distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions to customers to help them succeed using Astronomer products.
• Troubleshoot customer environments and engage in active triaging with customers.
• Participate in on-call rotation for weekend coverage.
