Job summary

You will answer inquiries by phone, email, or written correspondence, document interactions thoroughly, and maintain strict confidentiality. A high school diploma and healthcare data experience are expected, with a remote-friendly, full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Friendly, professional communication and strong customer service are essential.
• Experience with a multi-line phone system is required.
• Proficiency with MS-Office; ability to enter and manage data efficiently.
• Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail are needed.
• Must complete annual HIPAA training and ROI certification courses.
• Ability to work with confidential information and maintain privacy.

Responsibilities

• Answer and conduct business on the telephone with excellent customer service.
• Handle release of information inquiries accurately and promptly.
• Review, research, resolve and respond to inquiries via phone, email or written correspondence.
• Document all calls and resolutions in the software systems.
• Follow department and site-specific processes and procedures.
• Meet productivity and quality assurance expectations.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional rapport with coworkers and management.
• Communicate any issues promptly with team and management.
• Attend mandatory trainings and maintain regular attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
