Job summary

Datavant is hiring a Remote Medical Records Processor to receive and process patient health information requests, answer inbound and outbound calls, and securely manage records in our systems. You will protect patient privacy, maintain confidentiality, and follow HIPAA guidelines while using the facility software and handling documents.

This is a Full-Time Temporary role (Mon–Fri, 8:00–4:30pm EST) with the option to work from home and a 401k plan with matching contributions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work remotely and manage confidential information.
• Basic computer proficiency and comfortable with office equipment.
• Professional verbal and written English communications.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for patient health information according to policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain working knowledge of company software.
• Inform manager of workload and site issues.
• Respond to patient records requests and transmit securely.
• Answer inbound and outbound calls.
• Assist with additional duties as required.
• Ensure records are complete and properly organized.
