Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee LIHTC/HUD program compliance across properties. You will work with on-site and corporate staff to ensure regulatory standards are met and will travel as necessary to implement solutions.

Responsibilities include conducting audits, data entry for compliance reporting, and ongoing staff training on LIHTC, Fair housing, and related procedures.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of on-site or compliance experience processing LIHTC or Section 42 paperwork.
• Proven experience with HUD, Section 8, 202, and/or 811 programs.
• Knowledge of LIHTC certification paperwork and related regulations.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear communication with staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance for LIHTC/HUD programs across sites and corporate.
• Audit processes and implement compliant solutions; travel as needed.
• Enter data timely into compliance reporting systems and maintain files.
• Provide training on LIHTC, Fair housing, and other procedures to on-site staff.
• Coordinate with Local Housing Authority and State agencies for audits.
• Assist in mass recertifications, re-syndication, lease-ups, and acquisitions.
• Review property management data for accurate entries and compliance.
• Monitor unit allocations to meet 60/50% Tax Credit, Bond, and RDA targets.
