Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Senior Quality Abstraction Manager to lead a team responsible for clinical data synthesis, abstraction, and reporting across enterprise registries. You will collaborate with facility executives and service lines to drive performance improvements and ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.

This is a fully remote role with some flexibility in schedule. The ideal candidate has at least three years in quality/registry with supervisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare related field.
• Three years of experience in quality, abstraction, or registry with supervisory experience in healthcare.
• Five years of orthopedic and/or trauma experience (OR, Med Surg, ER, ICU).
• Knowledgeable in data quality, data management, and presentation software.
• Ability to analyze and display complex clinical data using standard tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team to provide clinical synthesis, distribution, and analysis of internal and comparative data.
• Collaborate with facility executives, service line leaders, and operational leads on improvement plans.
• Oversee data collection, reporting, and submission to state and national databases.
• Develop registry compliance with state/federal regulations and external accreditation standards.
• Lead interoperability and validity processes for abstraction, entry, and submission.
• Coordinate oversight of all registries across the enterprise.
