Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Quality Abstraction Manager to lead a team responsible for clinical data synthesis, abstraction and reporting across enterprise registries. You will ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance while guiding data-driven improvements.

This fully remote role collaborates with executives and service lines to drive interoperability, audits, and ongoing quality initiatives, with no relocation required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in quality, abstraction, registry with 1 year of supervisory experience leading a team; healthcare environment
• Five (5) years of orthopedic and/or trauma experience, such as in the OR, Med Surg, ER, ICU.
• Knowledgeable and proficient in the use of software, data quality, data management, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team to provide clinical synthesis, distribution, and analysis of internal and comparative data for system initiatives.
• Oversee data collection, reporting, and submission standards for CMS, payors, and accreditation entities.
• Lead development of interoperability and validity processes to support documentation and data reporting tools.
