Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Quality Abstraction Manager to lead a team responsible for clinical data synthesis, reporting, and performance improvement across enterprise registries.

You will collaborate with executives and service lines, ensure CMS and accreditation submissions, and drive data quality, interoperability, and confidentiality compliance. The role is fully remote with standard business hours and requires healthcare data registry experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field.
• Three years of experience in quality, abstraction, registry with 1 year of supervisory experience in healthcare.
• Five years of orthopedic and/or trauma experience (OR/Med Surg/ER/ICU).
• Proficient in data management, reporting, and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team to provide clinical synthesis, distribution, and analysis of internal and comparative data.
• Collaborate with facility executives, service line leaders and operational leads to improve enterprise clinical performance.
• Oversee data collection and submission standards for CMS, Payor, and Accreditation entities.
• Develop interoperability and validity processes for documentation and reporting.
• Coordinate oversight of registries across the enterprise to ensure data integrity and timeliness.
• Lead multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision and drive improvements.
• Provide HR functions including staffing, performance evaluations, and staff development.
