Job summary

Hitachi Energy’s Service Business seeks a Technical Sales Consultant to bridge sales and customers in the Central US region. You’ll travel to sites, identify service opportunities, and deliver solutions for power transformers and HV breakers, leveraging expertise in assembly, digital monitoring, testing, controls, and oil processing.

Role requires strong communication, CRM proficiency, and willingness to travel 50‑60%.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in field work on transformers and HV breakers.
• 4+ years as field crew leader preferred.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site assessments and provide tailored service solutions.
• Support proposals, scopes, and quotes addressing customer needs.
• Travel to customer sites and ensure project execution and safety.
• Collaborate with engineering, safety, and planning teams.
• Maintain CRM records and generate detailed field reports.
• Represent Hitachi Energy at industry events.
