Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Technical Sales Consultant to bridge our sales teams and customers across the TVA US region.

The role requires traveling to customer sites, identifying service opportunities, and delivering solutions for power transformers and HV breakers. You will apply deep technical expertise in assembly, digital monitoring equipment, electrical testing, controls, repairs, and oil processing.

Qualifications

• Requires work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Minimum 10+ years in field on transformers and HV breakers; 4+ years as field crew lead or technical degree ideal.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site assessments and technical consultations to identify service opportunities and develop tailored solutions for grid assets.
• Provide technical support on electrical testing, controls, and oil processing to support customer decision-making.
• Collaborate with engineering, safety, and planning teams to deliver seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical support on proposals, scopes, and quotes addressing customer needs and driving service sales growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with utilities, EPCs, and industrial stakeholders.
• Generate detailed reports and maintain records in CRM systems.
• Represent Hitachi Energy at industry events to build market presence.
