Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Consultant to bridge the gap between sales teams and customers across multiple US regions.

The role involves traveling to customer sites to identify service opportunities and deliver solutions for transformers and high-voltage breakers. The candidate should have 10+ years in the field, strong technical knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in the field on transformers and high-voltage breakers
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
• Strong computer skills in MS Office; experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce
• Willingness to travel 50-60% and operate company vehicle in substations

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site assessments and technical consultations to identify service opportunities and develop tailored solutions
• Provide technical support on electrical testing, controls, and oil processing to support customer decision-making
• Collaborate with engineering, safety, and planning teams to deliver seamless project execution and customer satisfaction
• Provide technical support on proposals, scopes, and quotes addressing customer needs and driving service sales growth
• Build and maintain strong relationships with utilities, EPCs, and industrial customers
• Represent Hitachi Energy at industry events and maintain CRM records
