Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA INC is seeking a Regional Technical Sales Consultant for the US Southeast region. This remote role requires frequent travel to customer sites and focuses on capitalizing service opportunities for power transformers and HV breakers.

You will provide technical support on electrical testing, controls, and oil processing, while collaborating with engineering, safety, and planning teams to deliver successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in the field on transformers and HV breakers.
• 4+ years as field crew leader or with a technical degree.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Willingness to travel 50-60% and operate in substation environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site assessments and technical consultations to identify service opportunities and develop tailored solutions for grid assets.
• Provide technical support on electrical testing, controls, and oil processing to support customer decision-making.
• Collaborate with engineering, safety, and planning teams to deliver seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical support on proposals, scopes, and quotes that address customer needs and drive service sales growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with utilities, EPCs, and industrial customers.
• Generate detailed reports and maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
• Represent Hitachi Energy at industry events to share insights and build market presence.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal guidelines.
