Job summary

Grundfos Water Treatment USA is seeking a Regional Sales Manager, Wastewater to lead regional sales for municipal wastewater aeration products across the U.S. You will coach and manage Manufacturer's Representatives, building relationships with utilities, engineers and contractors, guiding projects from development through bid and order.

The role is remote with up to 30% travel. Requires a mechanical or environmental engineering background and at least five years of industrial sales experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or environmental engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a similar industry with a proven track record.
• Strong technical knowledge of municipal wastewater treatment processes including mechanical aeration, SBR, oxidation ditch, and lagoon systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach and develop Manufacturer's Representatives to achieve annual sales quotas and orders.
• Drive new business through prospecting, visits, and relationship management with municipal utilities, consulting engineers, and contractors.
• Lead sales opportunities from project development through bidding, negotiation and PO execution.
• Provide technical and consultative guidance on Newterra's aeration systems for SBR, oxidation ditch and lagoon applications.
• Develop regional sales plans, forecast pipeline, identify market trends and pursue new opportunities.
• Act as liaison between customers, representatives and internal teams to ensure requirements are met.
