Job summary

Index Engines Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to own the Southeast and Midwest direct sales motion.

This remote role targets director-level and above contacts, builds pipeline, and drives technical evaluations and new logos while also managing renewals and expansions with existing customers. You’ll collaborate with OEM and channel partners, launch new products, and maintain accurate Salesforce data.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in software or hardware sales with quota.
• Experience prospecting and building own pipeline.
• Experience selling with channel or OEM partners.
• Background in storage, data protection or security is preferred.
• CRM discipline; Salesforce experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a target-account plan for Southeast and Midwest.
• Prospect outbound via phone, email, LinkedIn and events and land discovery meetings with director-level and above contacts.
• Qualify opportunities through discovery: budget, timeline, second meetings.
• Drive customers to a technical evaluation or POC with sales engineering.
• Close net-new accounts and contribute to regional revenue goals.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers, renewals and expansion opportunities.
• Co-sell with OEM and regional channel partners.
• Keep Salesforce contacts, notes, stages and forecast up to date.
• Represent Index Engines at regional events and meetings, in person and remote.
