Job summary

Grundfos Water Treatment USA is seeking a Regional Sales Manager, Wastewater to drive regional growth in municipal wastewater applications. You will manage a network of Manufacturers' Representatives, build relationships with utilities, engineers, and contractors, and lead opportunities from development to purchase orders.

The role requires a strong technical background in wastewater treatment, aBachelor's degree in engineering, and at least 5 years of sales experience, with up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of municipal wastewater treatment processes (mechanical aeration, SBR, oxidation ditch, lagoon).
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a similar industry with a proven track record.
• Experience managing Manufacturer's Representative networks and guiding complex projects from development to execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop Manufacturer's Representatives to hit annual sales and order quotas.
• Drive new business through prospecting, customer visits, and relationships with municipal utilities, consulting engineers, and contractors.
• Lead sales opportunities from early project development through specification, bidding, negotiation, and purchase orders.
• Provide technical and consultative guidance on Newterra's aeration systems across SBR, oxidation ditch, and lagoon applications.
• Develop regional sales plans, forecast pipeline, identify market trends, and pursue new opportunities.
• Serve as liaison between customers, representatives, and internal teams to ensure requirements are met.
