Job summary
Light Efficient Design is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to manage and develop our independent rep network in the Rocky Mountain region. You will coach reps, plan territory development, and collaborate with senior management on regional strategies.
This role is remote, with travel approximately twice monthly and a starting base salary of $110,000. Ideal candidates have prior sales management experience, established distributor relationships, and knowledge of the lighting/electrical market in
Qualifications
- Previous sales or sales management experience.
- Knowledge of the electrical distributor channel in the Region.
- Existing relationships with key electrical distributors.
- Previous experience in the lighting or electrical market.
Responsibilities
- Manage, evaluate and support our network of independent sales reps.
- Complete area planning with each rep, target new Preferred Partners.
- Develop capabilities of sales reps through an active coaching/mentoring process.
- Travel within territory approximately twice a month.
- Manage sales reps to exceed yearly sales goal.
- Develop the region: achieve sales and product mix goals; report regional trends; develop succession plans; maintain region expenses.
